# Michael Allsopp Design

> Michael Allsopp Design (MAD) is a Sydney interior design studio specialising in stylish, high-end remodelling of existing apartments. Established in 2019 by Creative Director Michael Allsopp — who holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from UTS and teaches interior design at TAFE NSW — the studio transforms inner-city and heritage apartments across Sydney, with a focus on the inner west, Kings Cross, Potts Point and the eastern suburbs. Work spans spatial planning, custom joinery, kitchen and bathroom design, material selection, project management and styling. Selected projects include the Redfern Residence, Kings Lane, The Addison (a two-apartment Surry Hills penthouse conversion), Potts Point Studio, Rose Residence and The Ikon. Featured in Apartment Therapy and In Residence.
